Booking
terms
- The villa booking as confirmed on your invoice/statement is
strictly for the persons named at the time of booking, for the
specified date, in the specified villa. The price includes local
taxes, gas, water, electricity and service charges (pool cleaning
etc.). Note : there is a weekly charge for laundering bedding
and towels.
Note : you
must provide your own pool/beach towels. Unless otherwise agreed,
for lets of 2 weeks or more, linen will be laundered and replaced
on a weekly basis by our housekeeping staff. We do not provide
travel insurance, which is compulsory. Please do not make flight
arrangements until such time as you have received confirmation
of your booking from Costa Blanca Villas. We do not accept responsibility
for any travel plans and do not provide transportation to &
from your accommodation.
Changes
to bookings - After confirmation, should any change be
made to the booking, we reserve the right to charge £20.00
per amendment to cover administration costs. This includes the
addition or deletion of guests.
Payment
for bookings - Payment can be made by Paypal online (subject
to a 3.5% handling charge), personal cheque or by bank
transfer. For security reasons, we do not recommend payment in
cash.
A
deposit of 30% is required in order to confirm your booking, with
the balance due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date. For bookings
within 8 weeks of your arrival date, payment is required in full
at the time of booking.
Arrival
& departure times - Unless otherwise agreed, the
rental period commences at 15.00 local time on the day of arrival
and terminates at 10.00 local time on the day of departure.Where
possible, we do try and be flexible in this regard, but would
ask your understanding when leaving to allow our housekeeping
staff access at the agreed time.
Alterations
and cancellations - Where you wish to alter your booking
we will do our best to accommodate your request. In case of cancellation
by the client, the following terms apply :
Cancellation
more than 84 days prior to arrival, we refund 50% of the total
cost.
Cancellation
between 60 and 84 days prior to arrival, we refund 30% of the
total cost.
Cancellation
less than 60 days prior to arrival, full charge applies.
Note : cancellations
should be covered by your holiday insurance, which should be in
place at the time of booking. Kindly make sure that you have ´ground
cover´ in order to secure a refund on the rental element.
Alterations
and cancellations by us : In the unlikely event that your chosen
villa is not available, i.e. in case of a fire or other force
majeure, our liability is limited to the provision of another
property of similar standard or full refund of rental monies only.
Construction
works - This area of Spain is developing rapidly, such
that there may be building or road works in progress in the near
vicinity of your villa. It is not always possible for us to gauge
the extent of such work which typically appears without any prior
notification. You should note that we are not responsible for
such work and cannot be expected to prevent this work from taking
place, nor will we pay any compensation for upset caused by any
such works or related disturbance.
Cots,
high chairs & Z beds - Should you wish to hire of
any of the aforementioned, please advise us at the time of booking.
Charges of £25.00, £15.00 and £50.00 per week
respectively apply. Linen is not supplied for cots.
Air
conditioning and fans - Most of our villas have one or
other provided. If required we can arrange for hire of additional
fans. Note : A few of our villas fitted with a/c offer this facility
on a metered basis. In this instance a £30.00 per week 'usage
fee' will be levied in advance. At the end of your stay any additional
or underusage will be balanced and charged or refunded as appropriate.
Damage
retainers - Our guests are responsible for taking care
of the villa and it´s contents during their stay. Remember
this is someones home and must be left clean & tidy at the
end of your stay. This includes the cleaning of barbeques and
disposal of rubbish in the local communal bins. A payment of £300.00
per villa is payable at the time of booking to cover damages.
Payment can be accepted by cheque or online, via Paypal and will be refunded
on your return home once the villa has been inspected; barring
damage, breakages or items being inadvertently removed from the
villa. Kindly advise our local staff of breakages in order that
items can be replaced.
Damage
and personal injury - Your booking contract is with the
relevant villa owner and as such we do not have any responsibility
to compensate you for any loss or damage, personal injury or death
suffered during the rental.
Pets
- Unless otherwise agreed, pets are not permitted under any circumstances.
Failure to comply with these terms will cause cancellation of
the rental contract and/or the cost of cleaning and sterilizing
the villa.
Arrival
arrangements - Normally you will be met at your villa
by a Costa Blanca Villas representative or advised of arrangements
for key collection. In all cases, upon receipt of your final balance,
you will receive details of tehse arrangements together with instructions
of how to find the villa from your chosen airport/ point of road
access.
Property
maintenance and customer service - We take great pride
in the presentation of our villas and handling our guests, but
from time to time appliances and other service elements go wrong.
In these circumstances, kindly report the situation to our local
representative who will resolve the matter to the best of our
ability as soon as humanly possible.
